Associate Professor Jason Thompson

Associate Professor Thompson holds PhD Medicine, MPsych(Clin), BSC(Hons) and is based at The University of Melbourne’s Department of Psychiatry in its Melbourne Medical School, working with Phoenix - the Australian Centre for Posttraumatic Health. Here, Jason pursue his interests in modelling large scale health and social insurance systems. Jason's earlier work pioneered the use of agent-based models and computational social science in areas of traditional health and insurance system design, urban design, infectious disease, and transportation safety. CI Thompson leads the simulation modelling studies.
