Dr Shannon Gray is a Senior Research Fellow, Deputy Director and ARC DECRA Fellow in the Healthy Working Lives Research Group, School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University. Shannon's research focuses on work disability, in particular personal injury compensation systems and how their policies and practices influence recovery, return to work, work-related mental health, and the transition of individuals between social support systems. Shannon has worked closely with internal researchers and external stakeholders in the areas of injury epidemiology, injury prevention and injury rehabilitation, to improve health-, work- and system-related outcomes.
