Annette is a research fellow and biostatistician with the John Walsh Centre for Rehabilitation Research, having combined interests in injury epidemiology, public health and applied biostatistics. Over an 18-year period, Annette has characterised the prevalence, incidence, prognosis and functional, psychological and quality of life impacts of health conditions, injuries and disabilities, and examined underlying causal and predictive factors for health conditions and health outcomes. Current projects include the Centre of Research Excellence for Better Health Outcomes for Compensable Injury, cohort studies on road traffic injury and spinal cord injury, and a clinical trial on best practice management of frailty.
